1. What do you see? Describe what is happening.
I see a field or a mountain side where there is a run-down town. The town looks old and I can see some of the buildings rusting.

I see brown, green, blue, gray, tan, white, and black.
I see circles, cylinders, rectangles, and squares.
I see straight and curves diagonal lines.
3. Write down 5 expressive words that relate to the image.
Run-down, Old, Poor, Rusty, and Corroded.
4. Interpret the photograph. What is the meaning of this image?
The city looks as though it is either a ghost town or people live there but it is in poor conditions.
5. Explain how this image uses the Rules of Composition.
The Rule of Thirds: Where the grass from the hill meets the city and be the horizon line.
The city towards the top left corner is in a money spot.
Simplicity: The sky in the picture gives it an uncomplicated background. The town in the
corner is the point of interest.
Actual and Implied Lines: The part in the picture where the ground meets the sky is a
horizontal line. And the dirt paths in the picture also make implied
diagonal lines.
